Paris déconfiné - Adieu M. HaffmannParis 31 May 2020, Montmartre streets apparently frozen in time. Local residents in "les rues Berthe & Androuet" have been experiencing a strange kind of quarantine with the feeling that they had gone back to the days of the German occupation in 1942. Shooting of Fred Cavayé's film, "Adieu Monsieur Haffmann" starring French actor Daniel Auteuil had started just before lockdown and will resume tomorrow with a script rewritten to take physical distancing into account. The film is due for release in January 2021.
Thanks to Mohammed for allowing me to take his photograph.

Is Daniel Autueil's film out yet? I love his work. I think La Placard is my favourite. I also like My Life is Hell. We have some of his films.

I immediately thought of Atget when I saw the corsets and was wondering where the hell that shop could be in my old hood. Crazy to think they've turned the street into a studio set! Talk about time warp....
