As an incurable world traveller, I travel around the world even when I’m not on the road. I do this in Paris and its suburbs without even taking the plane. Would you believe there’s a world that many Parisians don’t even know exists?
In Paris, where smiles are not always commonplace, where inhabitants have a reputation for whinging and where fun and “joie de vivre” are perhaps more synonymous with the Belle Époque or les Années Folles almost a century ago, my photos take you behind the scenes to see a culturally diverse, fun-loving, optimistic Paris at play.
