Often those observed look right into the photographer's lens. Suddenly, they're the ones observing us. Yet a photograph tells us much about the photographer.

However, like Asia, where I was based for 10 years in the 1980's, I too, have moved on ...

Many of these photographs were exhibited during the exhibition "Asia 25", a retrospective of Brenda Turnnidge's work at the Galerie Impressions in Paris, in 2006.
