Korea’s Anjwa island is so far off the beaten track, Google hardly mentions it except for to broadcast the weather forecast!
I spent July 2017 in Anjwa on an artists’ residency as part of the 6th International Kim Whan Ki festival. When not working on my exhibition project, I took pleasure in photographing the fields surrounding me and capturing the diverse sounds of the island. Turn the volume up to hear the birds, thunderbolts & the amazing Toad Symphony.
Nothing could be more different from my urban lifestyle in Paris.
