I found this paper "doll's house" on my street in Hong Kong's Sheung Wan district in the late 1980s. Paper offerings and effigies are intended to be burnt during a funeral. An effigy of the deceased's 'amah' (maid) would maybe continue cooking for him in the afterlife.
