In autumn 2018, I was honoured to be selected as one of the photographers who participated in the UNESCO / Alliance for the Protection of Asian Heritage project, 'Footsteps of the Lord Buddha'. The assignment took me to a dozen destinations in both Nepal and India where it is known that the Buddha had been: from Lumbini where he was born to Kushinagar where Buddha attained Parinirvana (nirvana-after-death) via Bodh Gaya where lord Buddha had attained enlightenment.

The book 'Footsteps of the Lord Buddha' was published last year, several of these photographs feature in it. After a first Paris exhibition to launch the book, other exhibitions are being planned in France and Asia.
